AIB Warranty transferable

EVGA are (or have already) downscaled their UK operations, so any RMA requests would require international shipping etc, as such even if they did offer transferable warranty I suspect OP would want to steer clear and find a UK based supplier.

isnt EVGA in germany? but i heard they have stopped doing the transferable warranty now though, cant remember where i heard it though.

I think I'll be avoiding Gigabyte after just reading a thread on this forums about different users very bad experiences with the RMA process and having to pay £15 for postage.

Taken from the evga EU webpage, they still offer second hand warranty but I believe an original purchase receipt is required or receipt from the second hand purchase i.e. eBay receipt

Transferable Limited Warranty (Second-Hand Purchasers)
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty, the Transferable Limited Warranty is available to second-hand purchasers with a valid proof of purchase from a reseller. The limited warranty on any Product which was originally shipped from EVGA or an Authorized Reseller as a demo or prize is not transferable to second-hand purchasers and is not covered by the Transferable Limited Warranty.

EVGA are regarded as the best for RMA, no matter the location.

But why would he/she want to steer clear of they offer exactly what he's looking for ?
The point is that there was a recent change in EVGA's UK operations on the issue of care (RMA etc), for some, including myself, faffing about sending expensive hardware overseas introduces an additional potential fail point, I just wanted highlight that.
