aiming on the 360 :(

I'll never know

Edit: but in the rare chance that any of my family members become better at gaming than me, I will be proud of their achivement

It won't be long, have you seen kids on video games these days? :p

Your sons probably only a few months from fighting you for the controller.

First time using a pad is like second nature to some people, where's for others (me for instance) it can take a few weeks getting used to. Just stick with it and you'll eventually get there, maybe sooner than later.

Gotta admit though, I'm still completely useless using a pad for online / competitive play, I don't think that'll ever change. :(

practice, practice and practice some more. in the end u will notice that u arent pushing the thumbstick all the way to the edge of the socket. in cod4 was near enough doing snap aim to an enemy all cos my was making fine small adjustments with my right thumb :)...

aint played a fps on the pc in over a year i think, i will feel weird i bet :p

Not sure what it says about the controls on the 360 but I did mannage to get a kill on live with my elbow whilst on the phone the other week, but as said practice practice and maybe fiddle with the sensitivity??

I used to be completely useless on a controller until a guy on GoW spent 30 mins teaching how to aim better. I'm still not that great but I can really enjoy games a lot more now.;)

In all seriousness, miss K got a new Halo controller for her birthday from cadman. The little one thought it was for him and proceeded to take it off of her He walked around with it with such pride and love. Most kids have a favourite teddy, mine has a favourite controller, He also likes to try to put the wireless headset on his ear (but cant so he holds it in place).

I can see there being "Issues" that need resolving later in life.

It only took me a few days but it's just not the same, I miss being able to just walk around a corner and insta-headshot people like I could on the PC. It's just not possible with a controller.

Hmmmm, in same ways it's just the same, you just need to think about it more.

As an example, take COD4. You roughly know the area in your head, you backup against a wall and can roughly imagine the height of a terrorist halfway down an alley, so get your crosshairs in the area you'd imagine the head to be, turn and a final tweak before firing.

I HAD the exact same feelings as you about this, but over time it's definately improving.

Danny uses the new San Miguel aim assist.

LOL I prefer Leffe myself.

Thanks for the tips guys I did the training session on COD4 but still took about 55 seconds instead of 14 that IW got.

:p

I will practice at it.

Actually I have become quite good at bioshock. Superb game kinda reminds me of Resi evil. Does Resi evil exist for 360 ?

My mates time is 13.99 on that F.N.G. course, he had a quicker one but he was offline :p.

Resident Evil isn't out, no, however Resident Evil 5 is arriving in 2008.

haha Class! I quite often use my nephew to complete games for me that I can't do, my reaction time seems a lot slower than it used to be :(

For me it is the opposite!! My mate insists that I have a little kid I keep locked up in my house, and only let him out to Play Tekken Online (strangely this accusation only surfaces when he loses!!!!) . Although early this year I was playing one of my Managers over Live at some game, giving it the trash talk etc and then he spoke up and I realised it was his nephew or something.

Maybe half the people we play online are actually younger faster cooler versions of the people we think we are playing :D

My daughter has an offline account only.

She was playing the trial of centipedes and millipedes (she loves it) and only beat the darn thing. She knows to press A to shoot and A to start again but this crafty little game had A to buy and unlock after winning. She called over "Daddy, look" with her finger over the button... I just managed to shout loud enough that she stopped.

So... her own profile, and no points!
