Funny how your first post in this thread is going on about people in here being elitists, you can't really say much.

Your second post was about the keyboard and mouse vs pad argument, you admited a keyboard and mouse is more accurate, personally i can't understand how someone can enjoy rotating at a set speed while getting shot in the back knowing that with a mouse you could just flick round. How can you "not know why we think a K+M is the better control method?" Accuracy and speed is everything especially in an FPS game.

If i was playing counter strike on an xbox or PS3 and i heard a guy coming behind me i know i'd be pretty ****** off if i couldn't turn around quick enough to shoot him because every movement is at a fixed speed.

PCs are for every body that can afford them and have the general open mindedness to have given them a proper go for their gaming experience. Consoles are for everybody as well, the only difference being that a large proportion simply just don't know any better.

Firstly, I think everybody who owns a gaming PC is a geek (including me), so don't take it so personal.

And I said K&M is faster and more accurate, not more enjoyable. I'm talking single player here.

Yeah it is a shame, for example, I get people asking me If I have Xbox Live or PSN and when I say I don't they look at me stumped and confused, then when I proceed to say I have/play on a Pc, I tend to get more estranged looks and something along the lines of, "uh, right, Ok" *walks off*

So I assume they think I play FarmrVille all the time?

Best 1st person games for me were playing Blood, Redneck Rampage and Duke Nukem 3D at the age of about 10 or 11.

Oh and Shogo Mobile Armour division.

Half Life blew my mind, as did Sin.

I wish more people played Tribes 2. That was damn epic.

+1 on that it was an Epic think and fight game,

loved the amount of pack variations there were, and loading up as a transport full of Heavies and dropping onto the enemy base wrecking havoc

HL was groundbreaking in its single player exsperience for its story and enemy AI and of course it birthed the world dominating virus known as CS as a mod made by Gooseman and co

this does remind me of andoird vs OSX4 in a way ...... one is for geeks ( yeah right its not that hard to use?) and OSX4 is for "normal" people....hmmm its user perferance same with PC and consle i ll admit I have a 360 ( again) I do use it and yes paretns buy thier kids consles with games.....i bet they pay the online subsrition ( live) as well

so they can go and rage at someone

Half Life,Sin,SMAD,were the 3rd/4th/5th games i bought on pc,never had "the net",enjoyed Sin,and SMAD far more than Half Life,by far.
