Behind you... Naked!
Do they even exist?

I have a Dual Opteron system, the CPUs are G34 and rigth now, I am using a pair of Noctua HN-12 Coolers.

These are quite probably better than any AIO setup, however, their size and weight are the questionable thing here, and I would simply prefer to have a smaller option to be honest.

Whether it means buying 2 sets, or indeed doing a little bit of "alterations" then thats fine too.

Just a thought of course, but... Anything?

It is currently in the Thermaltake Armor, however, while this is by far, my most favourite case, it is a tad cramped for this Motherboard.

I am therefore moving the guts into a Lian Li PC-V2100 Plus II

I have had this case for some time, but Hermes wrecked it in transit and its bent as a £3 note, however, I have had to bring it out and try my best to straighten it out and its an acceptable job, but I will leave the door off because with the door, you can see just how bad it is, but without it, its half disguised.

Anyway, the ATX power connections, coupled with both the 8 pin CPU power connections, are giving it a very tight wedged-in feel to some of the cables as there is only just over an inch gap between the half plate and the heatsink radiator and so that will require some cutting for the cables if I feel that is needed.

The air coolers ar pretty huge and with 2 of them... Its a lot of room.

I also need to cool the Chipset better too, because the stock coolers are useless at best.

I use to have a Thermaltake Armor loved it till i tried to mod it and broke the side panel.

If your gonna cool the chipsets as well you may want a custom water cooled configaration but looking at the Lian Li case i cant see where you would fit a dual rad.

Maybe a new case for better rad mounting.

Mite be worth starting a new thread in the watercooling section.

LOL I was 50-50 on a new case, but the Lian Li has been left dumped and I needed an excuse to use it.

That said, I still dont actully know if a Water / AIO setup actualy exists for the G34 anyway, and so a new case is not solving anything unless I know if one exists?

The Case its in right now, is perfectly fine for my cuirrent setup.

I have been toying about with a few options, I have also been considering making my own Heatsink block if need be, I have made my own heatsinks before so its not a big deal for me to do it. I think the only limit I will have this time is that because the cards go right over it, and the gap is so thin, that I think the thickness of the Heatsick cannot be more than about 10mm ( Not measured - its a guess ) then I may need to do some fancy heatpipe work and have a rad at a 90 degree angle that goes above the VGA card perhaps, or even have them water cooled too? - I dunno?

Right now, the whole setup is inside the Lian Li case ( with only the bare stuff to run it for testing ) and I have added an old cooler thingy that take 2x80mm fans and blows air directly onto the PSI cards, and what I have done with that, certainly seems to have helped because the heatsink temp has plummeted. The Mobo has more fan headers than I have EVER seen in a Mobo before, and so thats them kind of solved really... It should be just fine once its setup as a server and just dumped in another room as I am using VNC to talk to it as and when ( or I will be doing when its setup of course ) and so...

Anyway, modding the Armor?

What did you do? Break the perspex? I have done that a few times, and the local DIY shop simply helps me out with more Perspex! - problem sovled! - Nothing that a bit of patience and a dremmel wont cure and cut out a new bit of perspex and you're laughing.
Just remember to use a bit of tape around where you are going to drill the holes of teh screws and use a tiny drill bit first to pilot the hole and then se a bigger drill and then it wont crack and your laughing.

I have never worried a jot about breaking any glass. I have done in the past, but its so easy to fix if you need to, that I have never really worried about it anymore and thankfully I have not had to for years.

The only other mod I will be doing in the near future, is the Antec 900 and the Armor, while both are Black cases, I have a few mental images in my head of having them white, or at least part white and I think that will be a great idea.

Ok, I'm going off-topic now.
