I'm moving away from a custom loop due to the size of the latest gpus and not really needing it these days.

I'm looking for an AIO for my 5800x3d that will also work with 9800x3d if I upgrade.

My case is a Phanteks Evolv, so can take up to a 280mm at the top or 420mm radiator at the front.

I'm looking for one that's quiet but still performs well. The Arctic III looks good, but I've read it's noisy?

I'm assuming a 240/280mm will be fine for this too?

I have a Arctic III 360mm and find it very quiet, even under load it does not get that loud. Just need to set a fan curve to stop the fans spinning up to fast.

If you are roof mounting, maybe avoid the 280mm as with it having a very thick radiator it may not clear the top of the motherboard.

Also check motherboard compatibility.

Thanks, my board is compatible, so OK there.
the pump run silly fast and can make some noise, but if you use the splitter cable and not the all in one you can set the pump to about 50% and its silent
I'm not sure what you mean with this?

Even if you fit an artic freezer at the front
Still have to be careful about the extra thickness of the rad
Will depend on the pc case
And how long the gpu is
My stepsons last build we had to get a 15mm thick fan
And replace the middle rad fan because of this
I'll double check the measurements as the Pulse 9070xt is quite long too.

I'm also looking at the Corsair H150i 360. This seems to be quieter and better cooling than the Arctic?

Phanteks Evolv. Can fit a 280mm at the top or 420mm at front. Old rads with fans were 70mm thick. No problems with space and the new card.

Why did you replace the Arctic out of interest?

also a plus for the h150i is you can set the fans to follow the coolant temp keeping them very quiet with a CPU like yours
Yeah, and it's quiet I'm after I had 5 x 140mm fans in my old loop, but they were running so low you couldn't hear them.

I also like the look of the Be Quiet Pure Loop 280. It seems to be the quietest around and cools well too.

I have the - 20 offset on the cpu and will likely get a 9800x3d at some point so that should also do the job.

Didn't realise AIO would be such a minefield
