Hi all,

I've tried searching but I know this is an older CPU. My current CPU is 5+ years old and I decided to upgrade as I feel it was one thing in my system that could be a bottleneck. I am going from and i5 6600k to a Ryzen 3600.

Complete PC spec right at the bottom of this post

So as title, what's the best AIO for the 3600? I currently have an Antec AIO H1200 Khuler 240mm Pro but I don't have the AM4 bracket so I need a new cooler. I have read that these are the top ones but may be a bit overkill for a 3600

Corsair iCUE H100i
NZXT Kraken X53
MSI MAG CORELIQUID
Corsair H100i White

Could I get away with a 120mm Cooler for less given this is a more budget upgrade?

You don't really need an aio as its only a 65w CPU and even a 20-30 quid tower cooler would do the job.

If you were going to get an AIO then the arctic freezer II 240/280/360 would offer the best performance for fairly cheap compared to some of the other brands. They do a 120mm but makes little sense when the 240/280 isn't much more money.

Yeah quite a few people have said that an air cooler will do jut fine on the 3600.

However, I do see some 120mm AIO's for not too much like this one: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cool...0l-v2-rgb-aio-cpu-cooler-120mm-hs-089-cm.html

£60, or the NXZT M22 for £70

Just seems a step back going back to only air, although i'm aware in reality there is little difference. If only I could find an AM4 bracket for my Antec AIO H1200 Khuler!

**For an AM4 bracket please go to the manufacturer support page and email them proof of purchase of the cooler and proof of purchase for the Ryzen CPU. We will try our best to get some brackets but you should contact the manufacturer first. **

Oh good find, didn't even think to look. I have emailed their pre sales support to see if the one above is the same one for the h1200

So that bracket wont work. Antec wanted £10 + shipping for the bracket.

In the end I went with a Frostflow X 240 for £45. SUre, I could have just got the bracket for less than half but at the end of the day my current AIO is five years old....a little more for a new unit that will hopefully last me another 5.
