i'm getting a New Silent PC, the case im interested in is the 600Q.
as i could be getting a 10 Core CPU (if leaks are correct) i thought a AIO maybe required.

my question
from what i heard on youtube reviews (Gamers nexus being one) is having the Radiator below the CPU block Can cause more noise & the pump running dry.

However every review i've seen & image i have seen shows the 600Q with a Corsair AIO in this configuration.

Am i Wrong? or is this not the a good way of mounting an AIO?

any thoughts appericated

You don't NEED an AIO for a 10-core or any CPU. It's not going to be quieter or offer you much (if any) performance bump over a top end air cooler such as Noctua D15, BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3 or Cryorig R1.

But to answer your question, that placement is not optimal. I'm pretty sure Corsair themselves don't advise it, although I don't know if they say not to do it. I imagine it would still work.

It should be ok being a sealed unit. However any air will could cause issues if it rises to the highest point which will be the block.

Plus your trying to push warm air down which is not an easy feat.
