Can’t decide on which I want either aio or air cooler. Only ever had air coolers so was leaning towards aio for a change but don’t want a noisy rig.
My cpu is a ryzen 5600 currently with wraith cooler. Case is a montech air x3 mesh in white

with one rear exhaust fan 120mm 2x 120mm in top of case and 3x 140mm in front pulling air in.

Air cooler I was looking at was

Not too sure on aio while writing this post I have just realised I can only go 240mm for fans in top of case

What would you recommend?

Thanks for the replies. Set up msi afterburner with riva tuner tonight. Whilst playing eafc26 cpu temp reached 86oC and pc sounds like a jet engine. The Gtx 1080 was running around 65-70oC. I understand aio is overkill but would a 240 aio be quieter than say the peerless assassin air cooler?
I’m now also thinking of changing my graphics card as was getting under 60fps on quite low settings but they look crazy prices at the minute?

Sounds to me like you have some sort of problem there. I have a 10600k which I think is a hotter chip under a peerless assassin but on a fan controller keeping the fans running slow and I’ve never seen over 80 degrees under load…you’ve not accidentally got the fans blowing against each other?
Not that I know of it’s the way the case come from what I remember.

I’m struggling to see if I can even fit a 240mm aio in the cast tbh. Iv seen a few posts online saying the case I have is quite noisy with the stock rainbow fans. Think I might just end up getting a cheap air cooler see if it makes a difference.

Why not go for dual tower?
Ram clearance I wasn’t sure on. I have new cooler installed and been playing eafc26 and it hasn’t went above 55oc at avg 30-40% use and gpu 66oC at 80-99% use so happy days! Think it’s case fans making the noise so might upgrade them next as it’s doing me head in.
3 x 140mm and 3 x 120mm. Any recommendations welcomed.
