AIO Printer Advice

So I've an old Canon AIO inkjet printer, there are some drivers for MAC but they're very old (haven't worked out how to even run them as Gatekeeper doesn't like them) With their age they'll obviously be Intel binaries to and I'm now rocking my my M4 Mac Mini. So what are people using for an All-in-one printer, are they are that have M4 native drivers? I'm only a light user of both printing and scanning but would like something that integrates well with the Apple ecosystem.

Any recommendations/thoughts please?

If you don’t need colour I recommend one of these…

Works over WiFi with Mac and Windows. Cheaper to run than an ink jet and comes with a 1200 page starter toner.

Again its WiFi so will be able to connect with a Mac. I linked to this one as its a similar price to the Mono Laser I linked to above. But before you order have a look at the other Brother printer options at Amazon to make sure its the right one for you.

I've bought both epson and brother for family, both have refillable tanks. the only brand i'd actively avoid is HP because of that subscription nonsense.
