Thanks to an extra present for Christmas from a family member I now have some surplus cash lying around which has finally allowed me to start what I have been calling on my Facebook blog "Project AIOR5"

The plan is to replace the cooling for my CPU and GPU with the EK 360 Predator AIO inside a new Fractal Design R5 Black Pearl case with a pre-filled water-block directly from EK for my GTX980 (which I've finally found the courage to try and fit)

The problem now lies in the fact of which fans I should use to with the EK-360 that would satisfy both the cooling needs and my silence requirements as I have hyper-sensitive hearing due to autism. I was thinking of a 6 fan setup with each fan having relatively low rpm to compensate for the amount but if I can get away with just 3 that would be fantastic.

My CPU which is an i7-4790K will be run at stock as will my Asus GTX980 Strix. So my question to the forums is this, in regards to fans, what do you think would be the best and quietest setup for this build in regards to the fans?

Anyway to everyone, from my family of nerds, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year :D

Well the standard fans that come with it should be good. No sure which model they ise but dont think its anything to aggressive/noisey. If u want the same performance with less noise its noctuas only really

The EK Vardar fans it comes with are already very good, no point spending £30 or so on 3 new fans for little to no reason.

If they are too loud a new set of fans won't fix it. The ones supplied are already among the best in the world.
