hi all ive got a 12900k oc @ p cores 5.1 / e cores 3.9 idle temps when i 1st built pc was sitting at 29 / 30c . load 69c but now it seems to be more like 35c on idle load 75c cinebench r23. my board is a z690 rog maximus hero. with ddr 5 CORSAIR VENGEANCE 5600 gpu strix 1070. ive got a ryujin 2 360 aio push and pull top mount 3x noctua fans and 3x ek - vardar evo fans as exhaust. pc case is a corsair 5000d air flow with 3x front and 3x side aerocool mirage 12 pro fans as intake. plus 1 more 120 rear exhaust fan . ive been playing with the fan curve but not getting anywhere is it also better to have aio pump on power curve or full speed ? all fans are running on pwm are these temps ok / norm for my set up ?

Your temps have gone up by 6c and we're in the middle of a warm period where we've gone from 8-10c average up to to 20c depending on where you are in the UK, nothing to worry about.

did think this . whats best set up for aio pump speed . seen some have it set to 100% others set with pwm

To be honest if there’s no fan noise at high rpms just leave it there, my AIO is on pwm but with a minimum of 40% keeping the 12700k at 30c when idling which was just 26 degrees few days ago but ambient temp has gone up here as well since it’s well over 26c outside but a bit cooler where my rig is

The pumps are fine at 100%. If you find it makes some noise at 100%, you can apply a curve (either PWM or DC) to keep it a lower RPM for silence until the CPU hits a temperature indicating load. However be careful not to have the pump constantly speeding up and slowing down, that will wear it faster than just running it at 100%.

Some pumps are much quieter under 80% for example.

Fans.... obviously 100% is best for cooling. However for peace and quiet I leave mine at minimum until the CPU temp hits 50*C, then they ramp from 40% to 100% by the time it gets to 70*C. Again tweaking the curves to prevent "breathing".

The pump you can keep as high as your're happy with the noise. Just find the highest point where the pump still quiet for your preference and you should be fine. Some pumps are quieter at higher rpm than at very low rpm. Just need to do some testing.
The fans, I tend to keep them as quiet as possible until certain point, then slowly increase rpm, and when reach a temperature I think is too much, full blast. :D
Mine I keep 45% up to 60C, 50% up to 70, 55% up to 75C and 100% past 80C.
During gaming and normal use of the PC, I'm yet to see the 12700K go past 60C.
Yesterday, ambient of 26C, Cinebench R23 and the maximum temperature was 76C.
I don't do anything that pushes the CPU as hard as Cinebench, so I expect the fans to stay at 45%, maximum 50%.
The case fans follow similar approach regarding % to Celsius settings, starting at 35%.
