So I'm going to be building my dad a pc in the coming weeks it's a surprise and I want to bling it out. My first thought was to go for an aio cooler as they do look really nice and I have a spectre pro fan coming to pop on it. I don't think I will bother overclocking it for him so performance isn't too big of a concern.
I'm just wondering if I'm going to be introducing a possible problem for him down the line if it fails I'm hundreds of miles away and although he's pretty good with pc stuff not sure he'd be confident fitting a new cooler.
I guess question is how likely is it to go kaput? And would you recommend it in this scenario? I'm going to be putting a custom acrylic window on it to show off the internals so want it to look as sleek as possible.
