Who's ditching WoW/War to give it a go when it's released? Can't wait!

If you don't know what it is;

Looks like an Asian Grind Fest type of game. No thanks :/

That's exactly what I thought when I read "If you don't know what it is..." :p

Looks pretty, but then so do most of the asian mmo's. Oversized weapons, girls with their knickers showing, and probably with cat ears, the usual stuff. The flight mechanic would be a lot more interesting if you weren't restricted to flying only in certain zones, which is just daft.

theres actually a few of us looking forwards to this, weve had a couple of guys in some of the previous betas and its sounding nice.

All the MMOs atm the PvP absolutely sucks, lets hope this gets the PvP right :)

Its made by the same team behind Guildwars and that has been and still is hugely successful. It has over 3 million players and is free to play. It is rumoured to be based on a similar model to this and again will be free to play.

I will be tempted to purchase it, as it is going to be one of those games you can pick up at any time and wont feel obliged to play because there is no subscription.

Goto youtube to look at some video's. The flying combat looks nice, and obviously me being a graphics monkey, would love to play a nice looking MMO.

But yeh, it's grind, and my missus is threatening over WAR! lol

if it is more grind than FFXI I'm out of there, this game was a nightmare so if this one is worse no thanks

It was fairly hard and long as at lvl 18 you really needed a party to level up anymore, but final fantasy wasn't intended to be a grind fest as there's so much more to do than just level. Also leveling was fun, instead of soloing and rushing up the levels, you had to work as a team and that made it more enjoyable.

No it didn't, it made it impossible to play casually :p
