Air 13" external display

I have just bought a 13" MacBook Air and am now looking for a monitor to hook it up to when using it at home, maybe the IIyama Prolite E2472HD 24" LED.

Is there anything that I need to bear in mind in terms of spec and connections? Is HDMI the best option?

Well since it's Mini DisplayPort connection you need an adapter which (as far as I know) comes in DVI, VGA and DisplayPort.
