Hey guys just thought i'd take you on my first ever Watercooling adventure!

Sorry if this looks a little amateur i still haven't got the hang of using forums yet.

Can i ask for a little help on how to post pics without having to use links please?

I use Chrome if that helps.

In this build I'll be Watercooling the CPU,GPU and part of the motherboard via built in hybrid air/Watercooling.

My specs are the following,

I7 4970K
Corsair h100i
Asus Maximus VII formula
Corsair Dominator platinum 16GB
EVGA GTX 780 Classified
Corsair AX850 PSU
Corsair Air 540
2x Samsung 840 500gb evo SSD

The majority of the parts,Excluding some fittings and cable comps.

The Corsair Air 540 before i scrapped it,I'll explain in a moment.

This is almost bare bones

Now with the graphics card and the reservoir,Now you see the problem!

I'm a fussy fellow,Aint nobody got time for a horizontal reservoir!

So my original thought was,if i remove the rear 140 fan i could put the reservoir in that location........I was wrong.

My only other option was to move the reservoir in the rear chamber,But then i wouldn't be able to see such beauty!

So i had no choice but to scrap the corsair air 540 and decided to set my eyes on the Corsair 750D.

R.I.P Corsair Air 540 2013-2014

Anyway back on track,THE 750D. I had originally put my sights on the Phanteks Enthoo Primo.

But due to my budget i couldn't spend the rest of my budget on it.

So i settled for the Corsair 750D.

I went to overclockers and purchased the case and got it home just to see it like this, (Anyone under 18 please look away now as this may hurt)

I was surprised as this is the first time i've ever had anything DoA. Can i call a case DoA? I don't know but none the less i was shocked.

Thankfully Overclockers were charming as per and exchanged the case and couldn't apologise enough.

First impressions on the 750D we're HOLY CRAP it's a big case,Looking at it next to the 900D made it look like a Mini ITX.

Going off topic here but i'm pretty sure you could park a Smart car in a 900D. That thing is huge!

Getting off topic again, the only downside to the 750D was that when fitting in the watercooling i had no place to put in my 3TB HDD.

So i had to make a slight adjustment and use a bit of Velcro.

On top of that when putting in my NZXT HUE and my Blu Ray Drive into the optical bays i can't over the front thus it looks a little tacky.

So building into the 750D we go!

Looking pretty good so far right?

So here comes the exciting part! Filling and leak tests.

No leaks at all thankfully (Had it running for 12+ hours maybe more,I'm not very good at tracking time don't judge me) ;)

Everything is all good! It was a nerve racking experience knowing that at any moment it could leak and i'd have to start from scratch.

Now we're nearing the end,Just gotta plug the rest of the cables in and put some TLC in to some cable management.

Unfortunately OCUK didn't sell the correct size cable comps so i had to make do with some that are slightly larger but i worked around it.

Here's some more pics of it almost complete,We're almost reaching the end.

I know :(

Cable clips are now on

All that's left to do now is put in the SSD drives and Optical drive and NZXT HUE LED strips.

(Queue Garry Juels Mad World,We're at the end of the build log)

Hope you enjoyed this build log,Fellow OCUK forum user http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/member.php?u=106210 (Shovinus) did this beauty for me.

I couldn't be happier with the results!

I highly recommend him if you need help building as it made my job a heck of a lot easier knowing it's in safe hands.

Any suggestions on what to call my machine?

Appreciate you taking the time to look at my build log.

Happy holidays guys,Santa came early for me :)

not bad at all for your first build, i haven't gone down the route of water cooling yet but looked at the AIO CPU coolers.

There is no fan controller yet, an aquero is a bit overkill haha, his rig runs quiet enough atm, just a semi decent one would do the trick, the front controller is for his RGB strip.

Lots of similar components to my big build which was my first watercooled rig :), if your looking at fan controllers then I would recommend an Aquaero 5 LT, they are easy to hide and just generally control fans like a boss. Some of the cables could quite easily be a little tighter and neater but the overall layout of the build is nice. Do you find it dusty with practically all of the fans intaking?

Can be a bit dusty, but i take a air can to the system from a distance every 3 weeks. Going to be a bit more thorough dusting this time.

I let my h100i get a bit dusty under than two 120 fans i had.

Only noticed it after it got taken out.

Thanks for the recommendation on the fan controller, I'll be sure to keep it in mind when purchasing in the near future.

The fans need to intake, they are the ones covered with dust filters, that way all air going in to the system is filtered, and you maintain a positive pressure everywhere else
