Air BnB Xmas cottage rental south east England.

I know this is a long shot but....

Anyone recommend a place that can sleep up to 10. Well kitted out kitchen for Xmas and ideally 2h from London?

Can be coastal, can be scenic or whatever.

It's for a 60th birthday combined partly suprise partly not lol.

I don't know what's reasonable for 5 days but other people are telling me outrageous proces. Eg. 750 quid a night.... Am i out of touch or is that the right ballpark?

750 a night sounds high but depends on the property of course. Christmas rate gouging is a thing though and often properties are 2/3 times more expensive than usual.

The holiday cottage websites are usually cheaper than Airbnb.

5 nights for 10 guests over Christmas comes out at around £1800-2000 total (the example search linked is Southern England, w/c 23-28 Dec, +/- 3 days)

You can see the gouging @200sols mentioned though. The same properties are £1000 less in w/c 16 December.
