Air combat games?

hmmm am liking the suggestions! Added to wishlist for now, I would buy it via the Steam Mobile app, but I can wait to buy them till later, also find out if mates are interested in it :D

e: if there is a nice simple chance to host a dedicated box for the dogfighter, then I might put one up too :)
 
I just completed "Top Gun", which I bought cheap in Steam sale a year or two back. Extreme arcade game, basically you never do takeoff and landing, you can't stall, basically it is dogfighting with a few AA Gun / SAM Launchers thrown in. Also has checkpoints and regenerating health, ammo and afterburner :)

If you enjoyed the film and just want a quick blast using joypad maybe worth checking out, it has lots of lines from the movie (albeit said by the wrong people half the time), plus the soundtrack. The singleplayer is quite short, the tutorial and campaign only took me about 3hrs.
