Air/coolant-delta help :)

Got the last fan, a 140MM ultraslim that i put in the bottom back. Ran it as both exhaust and intake, with the previous best setup but it didnt change much. Still getting about 11-12C air/coolant delta during gaming with the top on. With top off its exactly 7,5C even after a few hours. Such a big difference, but it seems that glass makes it hard to get sub 10C deltas.

I guess I could try with no dust filter now, since the air is going out there. I'll give that a go!

But right now one of the ports on my sr2 sprung a leak, so I'm in panic mode draining and trying to find the leak

Interesting observation here. I had to remove the 480mm-rad from the bottom, the leak was in one of the port-plugs. Replacing them with metal ones. So I have been running just the two roof mounted 420s in the same loop, with the 4 ML120s from the bottom rad as bottom intakes. With all the glass off that gave me a 5-6C delta @ 700rpm while gaming. Thats the best delta yet, when factoring in fan speed. When all the glass is on though it goes right up to 12-13 again sadly. Still, just goes to show how much of a difference small changes to a setup can make. The 480 gives med better deltas while keeping fan speed down when the glass is on, but without the glass it seems the 480 hurts more than it helps - which is wierd and kinda makes me think that there may have been something fishy going on there. There was some wierd detritus in that rad, which I have now cleaned up. And the leaky port had been dripping a bit the past week, before it started full on leaking. I found a few bendy tubes as well when I redid everything last night, so I'm gonna rout the tubes a bit differently when rebuilding the whole thing later on. There might have been some issue with flow. Interesting stuff though :)
