Air Cooler and RAM

I am thinking of grabbing another 8GB of RAM for my PC to get to 16GB but my A50 cooler covers 2 RAM slots. Is it possible for me to mount it in a different direction or would this affect temps to much?

I don't think you can mount it differently, no. Unless you REALLY need it i wouldn't get the extra RAM. If you wanted to do that upgrade you'd have to replace your cooler or change your ram all together. The Vengance LP are a good choice.

I assume. I can't think of why not the speed, timings and make are the same, so i can't see why not.

Id wait for a professional opinon though. Anyone?

The LP should fit but what RAM slots are you using at the mo, worst comes to worst, sell and or trade your current standard Vengeance for LP variants.

I am using the two on the right of the motherboard as that is the only place they will fit. I can't really afford to just buy 16 more and cannot use the members market so I can't sell of my current ones. If it doesn't end up working people on my mine raft server will have to deal with the world limit and so on. It would just be nice to get some extra ram as I seem to end up using a lot running a stream, server and minecraft.

AFAIK the LP versions are exactly the same so I can't see why you wouldn't be able to buy 2 sticks and slot them into the free slots under the cooler.
