I bought this board from the members market and now I need a cooler for it. I am currently using an NH-D15S on my current motherboard and I tried to use it on the Xtreme but I found that the cooler blocks the first PCI-E slot completely so I need a smaller cooler but am unsure of one that would be adequate for my needs. Right now I run my two fans on my D15s at about 600rpm on my 5900X and it is more than enough cooling while keeping my system very quiet ( I have hypersensitivity to sound ) and of course whatever I replace it with I would like to keep it at roughly the same noise level.
Any suggestions for a cooler that would not cover the PCI-E slot while being quiet would be ideal and as for AIO's I have tried them but the buzzing from the pumps is too distracting for me. Anyway hope you are all keeping safe!
