i currently have a coolermaster hyper 612s air cooler and been offered a
corsair h80i just wondered how tecnical it was to set the h80i up as been told you have to ajust pump etc
and is the corsair worth the 70 price tag

a h80i is easy its all in one so mount the block in a similar way as you did the 612 then screw in the rad to a 120mm fan slot in your case thats it all adjustments are done using the windows software

Its a breeze to set up and is a good step up from your cooler..

Id personally spend £70 on an aircooler, SB-E x2, D14, K2, Silver arrow or TC14PE.

I have a H100i and my Noctua D14 was quiter and was about the same performance, yet I would still choose the H100i as it looks so much better and gives so much more room in the case. Also with regards to lifespan I think the corsair ones have a 5 year warranty.

I really like my H80i looks good sound is fine and you get to pick the led colour .... And the control software is very easy to use.

Some people have changed the fans on the H80i to reduce the sound but it's quieter than the CPU air cooler in my last system.

I have installed a few coolers and recently installed a H80i for a friend. Sometimes, coolers can be very fiddly to install but the Corsair was pretty simple and effortless.

I personally prefer air for piece of mind. It may be rare, but I would constantly worry about the pump leaking.
