Air cooling a 5800X

Case has a Max CPU Cooler Height 174 mm so all the big boys fit like the Nochtua d15 be quiet dark rock pro 4.

Alphenon Brocken 3 is another decent cooler and very quiet , decent budget option is arctic freezer e34 sport .

Thanks for the options and will look into these in further detail later, how is the ease of installation on Alphenon Brocken 3? I wasn't impressed with the be quiet method.

All the big coolers are are a bit fiddly but Alphenon provide a long screwdriver is provided.

Black dual fan version is on pre order.

Take a look at Sythe mugen 5 or fuma as further options.

The arctic e34 sport duo is a beast for its size.

Like yourself I prefer black/dark colour schemes. The D15 Chromax is worth a look.

Arguably the best air cooler on the market, and finally less ugly with Chromax.

Leaning towards the Alpenfohn Brocken 3, prefer the blackout schemes on coolers.
As long as you are aware that the 5800X is probably the hottest running Ryzen CPU. Even on my D15s I was in the low to mid 80's under load. I would at least be getting something with dual 140mm fans.
