First of all a silly question:

How does this fit onto the card? Is it in addition to the card+fan, a replacement for the casing/fan or what? Also does the gfx card size have any bearing on it?
I bought my 8800 (gts) when they were pretty new, and as a result it's one huge mofo (double slot size). My gf just bought a new 8800gt, and it's really slim.
Also what are the best tips for ambient/mboard cooling? My PC is under the desk and it gets quite warm back there, I've pulled it forward so the back of the case isn't touching the wood, but it is still constrained down there.
When I ran asus probe last night (during moderate OC stability testing) it was sounding its alarm at the motherboard temperature being 65c.
Is more extraction required, will internal blowers provide any relief, or just re-circulate the already hot air?
The case is a coolmaster(?) soprano without the window, it has a fan on the front drawing in air, a fan on the back blowing air out (and maybe a third fan, but I can't remember)
I want a fan or something to blow onto the memory also (or to blow the air away?), I bought ballistix and want to overclock it.
The reason for the VGA cooler is twofold, I'd like to keep everything cool (and this stuff will live on to all my future PC's), and my video card OC is pants. It's the original (g80?) 8800, so maybe they just don't clock well, but I barely get even 5% or less, before artifacts etc occur.
Final question: fans come in all shapes and sizes! Obviously the bigger the fan, the more the push, so the less rpm/noise to achieve the same air movement, but I'm sure each size fan has an optimal role/location on where they should be used. So as a quick summary guide, when should each mm size fan be used?
Thanks for help and answering
