Hello all,
I'll try to explain this as well as I can as Im not very technically minded about this.
I've tried to use Air Link with my Virgin Hub3 5gz channel but as everyone in the house is also connected to the 5gz wifi Iget a lot of latency issues and frequent stutters in my game play. So I've purchased a new router that's coming today to use as a dedicated Quest2 soon to be Quest3 router, so I'd like to just confirm with somone thats more inthe know on the set up to how it'll all get connected.
Am I right in saying I'll plug Ethernet from Virgin router LAN to WAN of the new router then LAN from new router to PC, that way household can use the Virgin Wifi for their stuff and I use the new routers Wifi ONLY for VR. Or is there a better way of doing it?
Cheers in advance.
Quick Edit, both Routers will be next to the PC and about 6 foot from the VR playing area.
Edit no2, Make new router as an access point, disable 2.4gz use 802.11ax or ac 5gz.
