Surely it depends on what the dog is allergic to?
Can I ask how you got this tested? My Springer is allergic to 4 different kinds of dust might, he's given a custom vaccine to help him once a month. You'll never get rid of all the mites.
Ooft. That is expensive for a consult even at a specialist. We got referred by our Vet to Willows in Birmingham https://willows.uk.net/ It's a specialist vets.
Make sure you're insured before you pursue it, just the consultation at Willows was about £300.
This is the one I've decided on.Levoit 300S here, got 2 of them. I had originally purchased them to take in dirty air caused by construction work outside my home but that work never took off. We still use them heavily and they've certainly collected up a lot of rubbish in our place, which is a very clean new build with only the bedroom having a carpet. My wife and I haven't any allergies though so I can't comment on that aspect.
It can help, but if the allergen source is still present then not really.
Overpriced fans imo.
