Hello,
i know this isn't proper water cooling but about 2 weeks ago i took out my Corsair H105 to clean the fans and radiator , anyway after i had put it back in again and started up the PC all was good ,,, but once the PC has been on for about 15-20mins there is a ticking sound coming from the pump head .

Now i know its air and if i tip the pc abit to the left it stops altogether ,
I have taken it back out and connected it up to a spare Power supply and moved it around to try and move the air out or so i had thought , but once it was back in the PC the ticking sound came back after about 1 hour .

I have tried running the PC on its side both left and right also upside down back to front and everyway you can think off , to try and move the air,,, (Nothing as worked ) the damn ticking sound just keeps coming back no matter what i do:mad::mad:.

If i restart the PC you can hear it making a flushing sound and it will go away for a few mins and then come back again .

I have monitored the pump speed with hwmonitor and that always stays the same , also temps don't seem to be affected in anyway that i can tell .

If anyone has any tips on how i could get the air out of the pump head it would be very much appreciated and the ticking sound drivers me mad lol

Many Thanks

PS ,,,,,In intense gaming sessions and heavy CPU load the ticking sound, sounds worse than when the pc is idle , the pump is connected to a constant voltage so it doesn't throttle .

Nope ,, damm its come back again this time after 2 hours on bf4 its back .
However after a restart its gone again .

So when the pc idle its seems to be gone , but i've just ran prime95 for 30mins to generate and simulate heavy gaming and to heat it up , and this is now where the noise is coming back , a ticking sound , but if i tilt the PC to the left hand side its goes..

I might just buy a Raijintek Triton AIO Water Cooling Solution there on offer here for £62.95 inc VAT and i've just watched a review and they seem to deliver better results than my H105, or come tomorrow i will take it back out and run the pump off a spare Power Supply for a few hours to see if i can shift the air .
