Someone posted an amazing one recently but i can't find it/i'm being lazy/thought i'd make a talking point out of it. :o

Can someone recommend a website/app? It will be for tracking a flight from America if that helps.

Its not THAT great.

Lots of planes are missing, and huge swathes of Europe are not covered by the data collection system they use.

Spain and France have almost no planes sometimes, and lots of planes disappear over Serbia and the Slavic countries!!

Yes flight stats is good, flight aware is also brilliant.

If you like to play wannabe airline pilot in FSX you can use these to fly realistic routes!

they dont work trust me :)

They worked during the volcano, I tracked quite a few flights wondering out of interest when my peace underneath the Heathrow flight path would be shattered once again by landing planes. They were very accurate, I'll trust my own experience.

Worst ever "ASK ME WHAT MY JOB IS" post as well.

Quite a lot of my mates are in to it and they just no these routes off by heart so mergh. One even goes plane spotting and I'm like

Nah, there never accurate, hours off

I do airport transfers, i pick up drop off 20+ airports a week.

The best way to track time is check the departing airport, ie if it came from dalaman(turkey) go to that website and check departure time and check weather pattern to see if winds are with teh plane or not. (favourable wind knocks off 5mins per hr on avg)
But you need to check the vors as planes don't fly point to point, more liek motorways in the sky they have to follow.
