Hi guys,
So I have a 295x2 installed in my case, as well as a 290x below it.
I thought initially that there was something wrong with the 295x2 as pretty frequently benchmarking it in Heaven 4.0 will make it throttle when it gets to 75 degrees. However, taking off the side panel, or any other panels makes it run much cooler (5-6 degrees)
Switched case fans around, and mounted two 140mm fans on the front, and managed to cable tie a third between them. That helped a fair bit, but the card does still eventually get hot. The only fans I have on the top of the case is the exhaust fans for my H100i.
I'm struggling a bit now, not really sure what to do about heat in the computer other than taking the side off, which of course isn't ideal.
Anyone know of any easy mods to increase airflow, or any other obvious fixes?
Cheers.
EDIT: Seems that pretty much the entire problem comes from having the front of the case on. If I take it off, it sticks around 65 degrees in Heaven. That seems odd doesn't it?
