Not sure if anyone can help me nail this relatively easily (tried a quick google but can't find anything I can plug my numbers into).
So..
coolmaster megaflow fan: 700rpm, 110CFM, 19dB (advertised rates).
I want to filter it with some #200 marine mesh, 0.028mm Wire x 0.099mm Aperture - 60.77% Open Area - 0.08KG/M2.
Would I be right in assuming the aperture size @ 99 micron is unimportant but the 60.77% open area will result in a fairly linear drop in the CFM?
E.g 60.77% of 110 is 66.84. Does this sound reasonable for my filtered CFM?
Sorry if it's a bit toooo technical for discussion here
it's my "go to" and I know there's some folks around with this sort of knowledge
There's going to be a pair of these throwing air into a open backed box (think decent sized case sized box with the whole back missing) apart from 2 rads with SP fans on. I'm not sure if these will be enough to keep everything happy without directing air around a little(/lot).
