airplane disaster movie, help

hey all, im trying toi find the name of this film but cant find anything about it. i can picture the main actors face but not his name.

the plot is, passenger liner 747 i think. they find a bomb on board but manage to throw it out before it goes off but it damages the tale.

they get a helicopter to shoot the tail to free the mangled metel.

is this ringing bells with any one.

None of them are exactly correct, but that could be because what you are describing is not a single film, or maybe some made for TV movie not listed on normal databases.

it probibly was a made for tv,

they pump water into the landing gear to bring the nose down, so that when they drop the carrage the water comes out and the nose comes up to land.
