Hi

I am thinking about getting an xbox 360, but have a few issues with networking. The current setup is a Netgear DG834G wireless router/modem, connected via ethernet to one computer upstairs and wirelessly to another downstairs (at the opposite end of the house). Unfortunately the signal in the downstairs room is pretty poor, and there is not another convenient place to put the router to give better coverage.

To be honest, i also resent paying nearly 1/4 of the cost of the console for the microsoft wireless adapter, so was considering a wireless bridge instead.
I was thinking of getting the Airport express, but was not sure if this would do what i need. Could i connect the xbox/downstairs PC (not at the same time) to the airport via ethernet and use the airport as a wireless bridge? Would this inetegrate fine with the negtgear router? Has anyone else used the airport to connect an xbox to a router/modem?

Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry - since the original post i have found that the airport express only works as a wireless bridge in conjunction with an airport extreme (should have read more carefully...).

In light of this, can anyone recommend me a wireless bridge unit?
