I would suggest they take that charge, turn it sideways and insert it chuffwise.

That makes my £7.20 for exactly 60 minutes at Glasgow on Monday seem quite reasonable!

I assume that's the minimum for online booking rather than the actual price?

There's something wrong with that site, it can't be right.

If I try and book tomorrow from 00:01 to 23:59 I get the same prices as you. I'm sure an hour in short stay isn't that price.

One hour in short stay will actually cost you £2.80.

When you're picking someone up. IIRC there's no 'pick up' zone at EGSS (although I could be wrong, there used to be 15 minutes free parking but there's always the chance of delays etc).

But the point here is that it's not the price Huddy quoted - Nobody would pre-book short stay for a 24 hour period, it'd be madness.

At Gatwick I just use the drop off area for both dropping off and picking up. If theres any delays I just hang out in the McDonalds up the road which allows up to 75 min free parking. Screw paying those rip off parking charges

I tend to fly from Gatwick wherever I can as I use a guest house around the corner that charges £4 a day to park my car around the back of there house and they drop me off / pick me up from the terminal too.
