I personally didn't have a problem after the 1.4.10 update but the guys on a mailing list I am on who mainly use macs where going mental with dropouts etc.
I was disappointed with Apples seeming unwillingness to accept the problem existed though there seemed to be so many different symptoms that maybe it was hard to diagnose? meh maybe I'm just making an excuse for Stevie ....
