My sister has suggested that her 7 year old daughter (and her partners 9yp son) would potentially like their own safety glasses* for "pellet gun" shooting (further clarification is that the pellets are "lead").

So with 4 days until Christmas** does anyone have any recommendations for suitable safety eyewear for young children playing with shooty things?

If it was normal DIY protective gear I'd have no issue and simply go for something like dewalt, but I've literally zero idea of where to start looking for pellet gun rated stuff, especially in kids sizes.

Given the current hobbies/activities my niece seems to be involved in I'm starting to wonder if sister is training her to be some sort of assassin.

*I assume, and fervently hope they're using loan ones at the moment ;)

**Fortunately I've already got her main present:p

Not sure about that, but UK law states that you have to be 14 years or above to be able to use one.
I may have got the type of gun wrong, indeed it's quite likely as I'm going by information from my sister, who as much as I love her is absolutely terrible at passing along any messages* or paying attention to things especially anything remotely technical :p It wouldn't surprise me if next time I see her partner it turns out it's a potato gun the kids are playing with.

*I told her the other day that we were being more careful about how many people we had in the house due to omicon and only just having had our boosters, and got a worried call from my oldest nephew's GF asking if we were ok as she'd just been told I was in isolation (there is a ~20 year age gap between my sister's first born and my niece).
