Aisuite does not support this motherboard (P8P67)

Hi

I am trying to update the bios on my P8P67 from 1502. i have got hold of
P8P67-ASUS-1506.ROM but i am struggling to flash the bios...

the software on the asus site does not work.
trying to run the .rom file within the bios does not work
and aisuite which i downloaded says it does not support this motherboard.

Sorry to sound like a pleb but can anyone point me to some bios flashing software please, as well as ideally an aisuite which recognises my board

You sure you have the right version, just looked on Asus site and it seems like there are several versions of that board.

Which P8P67 is it?
The latest bios for P8P67/Pro/Evo/Sabertooth & Deluxe/ are either 1502 or 1503 depending which you have.

Had a look through ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1155/ and can't find 1506 bios anywhere,not even the newer Rev 3.1's

Whatever you do, dont use a windows application for flashing the bios on an asus board, it's well known to kill boards. Use the asus EZ-FLASH utility in bios via a usb thumb drive, much safer way of doing it tbh.

thanks for the info.... turns out (doughnut) that i must have been using the wrong aisuite, and also was using the old install dvd with my other (B2) motherboard by mistake.

swapping disks and it worked fine.

interesting info about not using aisuite in windows to flash, however its too late, i have already done it - but luckily it worked fine.

as for where i got my bios from..... i will edit this post with the link later if anyone wants it, i am now up from 1302 to 1306.

its early days buy *maybe* my pc is more stable now.
