This is for the guys with the new 9.5 Opera beta.

If you would like to see and use the new Gmail 2.0 (which gmail won't push to us because they ignore opera). The opera community have (as usual) solved it themselves! http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=215172 Follow these instructions and you can use all the new fancy Gmail 2.0 features right in your favourite browser ;)

I used to use Aspell for spell checking too but this UserJS spelling which uses the GMail spelling engine is so much nicer, I present Ospell:

Have fun and report back an problems :)

It's great you wouldn't know it was there apart from a little tab that appears when your typing in a textarea, or if you press ctrl , to check spelling... I really am loving this :D

I get the link/tab at the bottom of my compose box... :D Not sure what the difference is. All you need to know though is:
ctlr + , = Spell check
ctlr + ' = Cancel changes
ctrl + Enter = Save changes

Ah OK. I will play with it later. I use Thunderbird for my Gmail. I only ever use the webmail versions of my email if I want to change an option or to check the junk folder. :)

Oh yes. :) Got the info about it from Lifehacker.com. Got my private email, Uni email and Gmail all on IMAP. :D

Originally only my private email was on IMAP and Uni/Gmail were both on POP3. :o
