Which is the best chair in terms of ergonomics?
And hows the overall build quality? Read a lot about the cylinder breaking/giving up often on these dx/ak chairs.

My heights ~180cm if that matters.

I enjoy a chair that can lean backwards, its nice for movies and casual contrller gaming. But its also nice to be able to sit straight properly.

Currently sitting in an Ikea Markus. Cant sit straight in it as the backrest is basicly tilted backwards so it feels like lying down. And the armrests arent adjustable so I cant sit as close to the desk as I would want.

I've got an AK Racing ProX and I replaced a Markus. I find it extremely comfortable (quite broad, 6'2" ish) and could sit in it for days. Very adjustable and seems to be extremely strong. The ProX is just a different shape to their other chairs, which are made in the same way with the same materials.

Replacement lifters are easy to get, but they're well rated for weight capacity, so early failures might have been an early design problem?

I got a feeling that the DXRacer Drift series would be best suited for you.

I am around 175cm in height and 68KG in weight, and have both the DXRacer Formula and the AKRacing ProX. I find the Formula is tinny bit small for me but still quite comfy, as for the AKRacing ProX I somewhat regret getting it...not that because it is bad chair, but more to do with I am not big enough to sit comfortable in it to take advantage of its ergonomics.

The DXRacer Drift series is for people around 180cm in height, and has a thick padding for the back comparing to the Formula. You can have a look at the following guide for some idea:
