i stupidly just bought one of these for my antec nine hundred case, and then read a review only to find it that it comes with "4 x 3-pin extension cables" and the fans on my computer are 4 pins... what can i do :S

3 pin is fairley standard for fan controlers, my Zalman MFC1 has 6 channels, 4 of which are 3 pin, the other 2 are for bare wires black/red.

Yep thats it, can get others, same thing though......

Like i said i dont know if that will be ok wired to the controller, so don't just take my word for it.

is it worth risking? Or is there a chance it could blow something up, lol :confused:

as long as the rated wattage of your fan does not exceed the wattage per channel on the controler, you SHOULD be ok right?

I honestly do not know the technicality of connecting the fans via an adaptor and wether there is any risk, just contact the manufacter or hunt down the info on the web.
