Akasa Apache blacks do they still hold thier own ? I have a new build in coming and I need to buy some fans to replace the 2 120's on the h100 and 3 140's to replace the the 3 case fans the last fans I bought were the apache blacks but that was nearly 6 years ago have looked at the varder 120er's for the h100 but seem expensive when you can get apache oems for £8 any suggestions would be gratefully received

apaches are great!

I'd recommend them all round as case fans (my original brown ones are going on 6 years old, used 8-12 hours a day and still running smooth!)

vardars may be worth the difference for radiators, I've not used them, but they are based on the old scythe gentle typhoons, which by all accounts are the best heatsink fan ever made

another option is the corsair SP120 series, which I'm running on my front rad, but tbh they are noisier than the apaches, and not worth the corsair badge premium

I've got 5 of these as case fans and rad fans on my AIO. At this price point I haven't found anything better in terms of noise/performance ratio.

Bought 5 x 120 and 1 x 140 apache blacks in the end all the reading was starting to hurt my head and I didn't see any fan at this price point that could better them

You want high static pressure fans for the rad and get ty 143's for case fans.
edit: ah too late doesn't make a huge difference anyway maybe -1 c for the absolute best choices
