Recently bought this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FL-005-AK&tool=3

And has a tiny USB 3 pin looking connector but cannot see where to plug this into on the Asus M5A97 Pro motherboard. Also has a standard USB connector and a sata power connector.

I plugged in the sata power connector and put the normal USB cable through the case and out onto the back and plugged into straight into a USB slot and the device doesnt work, Windows 7 64bit doesnt even see it.

Have I done something wrong here or is this faulty? The small 3 pin looking USB connector has nowhere to be plugged in so I thought considering it has a normal USB connector that can be used instead?

Some help would be appreciated, many thanks.

According to a review of thast ive just read has it has a cable that you connect a SATA power connector to, a 10 pin USB cable to plug into the internal usb header as surveyor showed in the photo above, and lastly a USB3.0 plug that you need to feed to the outside of your case and plug into a USB3.0 port.

Thanks for that, the problem is that the USB header isnt a 10pin it was a lot smaller and was 3 pin so I am guessing its a fault? I plugged in the sata power so surely that alone would make it recognised within windows but it doesnt so seems as though have a faulty product here.

Thanks for the help and links :-)
