I've had the eclpise-62 for a month now, great case (except for the pretty big slits in between 5.25" bays.
Just took everything apart for a clean (as well as my new parts), noticed the pci slot, and dont know how to use it!!

The only way i could imagine was to have a pci extension cable running from the way all the way to the back of the case, but that seems.. dumb, and more importantly, i didnt get such an item with the case.
So could anyone tell me how it is used?

*hopes it's not something embarassingly simple*

USB, some motherboard come with PCI plates, it allows you to have them at the front.

Some soundcards have gameports on a cable to take up a PCI slot.

It is for things like that :)

Or I guess if your a DIY modder type of chap you could mount some switches for some of your stuff etc a plate an have it at the front of your machine behind a little flap..

Or even some of the HSF's that come with a variable speed control on a PCI plate, would be more useful if it was mounted on the front.

Thanks, i've never seen any of that stuff before.

If i've understood correctly, its a pci shaped thing, but plugs into mobo via USB?
