Hello all

I'm about to start a new build on my Eclipse 62, which i must say is a very nice case indeed. However, when i first got the case, i ditched the Floppy and HDD racks.
From my two current HDD's, i have one mounted in a HDD cooler (without the fan) and the other sitting on a sponge on the bottom of the top 5" odd bay.

To date both HDD's are working fine.

I was browsing the old Eclipse 62 case, and noticed that some poeple seem to have this foam matt at hte bottom of their case with the Akasa logo on it. Where nca i get one of these if possible?

Also are there any 5" tray compartments that i can get o slot into toe top mouting rack for the Eclispe 62 to correctly mount botyh my Sata Drives at all?

Many thanks in advance for any advice

That's the Akasa case silencing stuff, I use the same.

get some sewing elastic and some large screws for the harddisks, I've got 3 sata drives happily suspended and secure in the top bays along with a dvd drive (and a 140mm fan to keep them cool)

No issues transporting the case if wired up correctly, the elastic stops all movement whilst keeping the drives suspended, the screws keep the drives seated in the elastic.

Get some sewing machine elastic or a material strap of some sort and suspend the hdd's under the dvd drive works a charm.

3mm bungee cord, the stuff you find threaded through fibreglass tent poles is what I've used, because the HDD rack that comes with the case is ridiculously noisy.

You need to get it quite taught though, otherwise the drives just flop around!
