Which case would be better for cooling?
I'm going to have a Q6600 OC'd @ 3.6Ghz with a Tuniq Tower, and 2 x HD 4870's in Crossfire unless someone convinces me to get some other graphic card.

Basically as you can imagine the Case will get mightly hot and was wondering if the Akasa Eclipse 62 will be able to sufficiently cool it with only 1 front 120mm fan and one 120 exhaust, as I want to get that case becasue it's gorgeous with the side window and some lights inside.

Thanks for the help!

Although, if the other Akasa Cases have better cooling than the 62 then please advise me.

For cooling i'd defo go for the 1200, the eclipse is a great case, but i'd swap mine for a 1200 tomorrow if i had the room.

would the Akasa 62 be sufficient to cool all my components or would I be completly better off going for the Antec 1200?

I have an NZXT Hush with a Q6600 at 3GHz and things get really toasty with only 2 fans.

I've got a tuniq tower too.

It's very cramped though which has a lot to do with it.

He said it's great, he didn't say if it was sufficient for the hardware i've got.

With the amount of time you've spent trying to prove me wrong, regardless of if i'm completly wrong or clearly a retard. You could have pressed a max of 3 keys and said, yes or no.

Not out to prove anyone wrong, just pointing out to you what Tetsu's correct recommendation was to your question.... both these cases will be sufficient for your hardware because they are both Huuuuuuuuge cases, and as stated by Tetsu the Antec 1200 has better cooling.... I've got dedicated threads on both cases, take a look at them and decide, which ever one you choose you won't be dissapointed.

Why not go for an Nzxt Tempest case, it beats both the antec 1200 and the akasa for cooling.

Although the Tempest is a good case for cooling, it's more comparable to the 900, the 1200 isn't as cramped inside as either the Tempest or 900, so aswell as having more fans, it probly gets better airflow through the case.

I do believe looking at the specs the tempest is actually bigger than the 1200 and there is a lot more room inside and last count my tempest had 6 fans, more than the 1200.

The 1200 has 3x front 120mm fans, 2x rear 120mm fans, 1x side panel 120mm fan, and 1x 200mm "Big Boy" fan on the top of the case... 7 fans: 6x 120mm + 1x 200mm.... :p More than the Tempest...:D

Although the 1200 isnt exactly a brushed aluminium beauty, I think that tempest case looks pretty horribly plasticy..

I've just spent 20 mins tryna think of a good way to word all that BFG without just sayin but its got more, and in you come all blunt and to the point, and now i have to delete my 15 line essay and write summot else. :D

The Tempest is a fine case as was the 900 and if given one i'd be more than happy, but if given the cash, and you want the best cooling then the 1200 has to be at the top of your list. this thread could go on forever, its just tit for tat.

but the 1200 has more and is better ;)

Personal choice really i will stick with my tempest, imo much better looking than the 1200 ,easier to work in and still disagree about the cooling as my temps have dropped since moving from the 1200 but everyone to there own choice.
