Akasa Eclipse-62 Vs Lian-Li PC-61

AC Ryan Blackfire fans have independently adjustable LEDs so you can turn them on and off. It also means you can vary the speed of the fan without dimming or brightening the LEDs.

Build quality redefines the term shoddy though.

Is there an on-off switch on the casing of the fan for each of the 4 LEDs?

Having not used one this is just from my normal asumption.

4 swtictches would cost to much, more than likely one works the lot just due to saving money as switches cost 20p or around that, so they are expensive; and will be used sparingly.

A google should answer your question though, just off out so can't myself.

I would say the Lian Li as well. Their construction quality is the best i have seen in a case (Silverstone coming a close second). The Eclipse is a very well designed case (ex-server case to be exact) but the front plastic bezel just doesnt do it justice at all. Shame as if it had an aluminium front i would probably go for it over the Lian Li.

Never used those fans.

When you say shoddy, the casing being very poor?

Or is it that they just feel 'cheap'.

On a decent LED fan there is a piece of tape or something around the fan housing to keep sticky fingers out of the LED wiring. Not so on these - just bare wires poking out. If they touch the case, then the PSU fuses (if you're lucky).

The exposed wires also snap easily.
