Akasa Eclipse 62

Yes it has, but its a fairly decent quality plastic that can take quite a bit of abuse.

If your buying a case for its aesthetic looks on the exterior your looking at the wrong case.
If you want something with a really nice design and tonnes of space to work in, you can't do much better.

I just read a review on this case, it says it has a plastic front? :(

Is that true?

Thanks,
Craig.

Most Lian Li cases have a partially plastic front panel, so they're out as well.

I'm told that in aluminium cases with windows, the windows are plastic, not aluminium :( so nothing with a window in it....

And apparently CPU's, DVDs and TFTs are made of plastic too, so you'll just have to have an all aluminium abacus to play BF2142 on. But you'll have to play on your own as the RJ45 network connectors are plastic so you can't use one of those either.

I don't know of any cases at all that are 100% aluminium alloy in every aspect of their construction, so to start knocking lumps off the Eclipse because it has a plastic front is basically lay youself open to ridicule.

Coolermaster Wavemaster. I haven't found any plastic in it :)

Yes, but you accept one, why not the other? The fact is - plastic isn't carp, it's just different.

I was just asking because I was then going to ask if it was flimsy plastic or not (PinkFloyd answered both my questions in one :)).

I don't mind plastic on a case, I was just wondering :)

EDIT

Got another question for someone!:

How do the dual HDD lights work? There's only one HDD light plug on a motherboard?

It's extremely nice plastic. The two HDD lights only work if you have a secondary header eg. on a SATA or PATA add-in PCI card.

Ah right. I think if I got this case i'd just have to get a add-in PCI card just so I can make the other HDD light work :D
