Hmmmm I'm confused...

Was in a PC store the other day browsing through components, not really interested in buying anything, my PC's cool enough as it is right? Then I came across a behemoth of a case and was like "WTF OMG", there stood a CM Cosmos S...
I got home sat at my desk and started playing some games... every now and again my eyes would quickly glance at my Eclipse and then back... Over the last few nights I've somehow got it into my head that I need a new case...
I've had the Eclipse for 2 years now and its seen 2 full rebuilds, is this the end of an era?
I never thought there were cases out there that compared to the value and quality of the Eclipse...

Anyone here upgraded from a Eclipse/Mirage to something else, or is there any cases better than the Eclipse people would reccommend?

Before i got my eclipse i was using a thermaltake tsunami which was far to cramped. when i got the eclipse i couldnt get over the sheer amount of room in it. the eclipse certainly still ranks high in the size/price bracket

I had the same thing with my mirage 62...but after a few months I hated it. 8 or so months down the line and I have switched it for a antec P182.

I've got an eclipse, and feel almost the same way as the OP.
One of the few cases that has caught my eye is the upcoming Lian Li A20.
Either that, or seriously break the wallet and go for a TJ07 (I can't get over the aesthetic appeal of that case, though the A20 may have more updated features).

the eclipse is still a great case (havent got one but thinking about it) i like the design and the potential mods you could do to it. eclipse will definatly be fine if your happy with it. but if your looking for a change. why not get a new case-of course look up on it first.

I gotta agree. Cases are one of the best investments you can make which is why I'm slowly getting over spending £100 on one. It took a while, but I'm finally there ;)

how is having to bung everything behind a motherboard tray having to buy a psu extension lead and cable tie tape it all down good cable management the ecplise trounces most cases with its cable management

Pure Awesome.

generally they are meant to look sleek rather than "flashy". very professional rather than "blue lights and buzzing fans". the eclispe is a cross between the two as you can go either way, sleek and stealthed or a window panel and light up fan controls etc.

thats why id stick with eclipse...i dont think you'll be too impressed with a new case when your current one is already the bees knees.
