I honestly can't decide which I want to use, got the latter in a "bargain bucket" unfortunately in silver but it's something I can live with, however I don't know which one I want to use. All that's going in the case:

Overclocked i7 system with a Noctua NH-U12P.
Single graphics card with a thermalright HR-03 strapped to it.
Single DVDRW
1/2 SSD's.

I'm currently using the Eclipse, it's sitting upside down with the PSU at the bottom as when I fitted the HR-03 the ramsinks kept falling off, it's running quieter and cooler as the PSU no longer takes in the cpu heat.

The silverstone looks classier, not quite as wide but taller, has top vents to help cooling, also there's little bits of the build quality I'm really suprised with being my first silverstone... but it also lacks dust filters, not that they really did any good on my akasa.

Side by side I like them both, but which should I use?

Oh you lot are horrible! :p

I might give the silverstone a shot and see how I like the noise/cooling, of course I'll supply before/after pics of both builds. If I don't like it then the motherboard tray from the silverstone will make a much better building block to a project I was thinking of doing compared to the one in the eclipse, so might be a project over the summer :)

+1 to equal it out :p

Hang on... you've already voted :D

:D been thinking allot recently about reverting to my eclipse (upgraded to a stacker (bigger) yet its allot more cramped, and dont ask me how that happend blame coolermaster

Width is fairly pointless, height however ican be very useful.

ofcourse, completely depends on what your intentions are

;) :p :D

Back in 2004/5 the Eclipse was one of the best cases on the market due to its size to cost ratio. Still hold a special place in my heart for this case. ;)

still using my eclipse and contemplating keeping it whenever i get the chance to upgrade. saves me some £££ to invest in other components at the end of the day :D

Another eclipse user here. Still a good case, the mirror finish on the mobo tray is beautiful.
Shame its hidden behind the mobo.
