Akasa Eclipse / Paxmate [Photos]

Today decided to clean out my rig and cover the sides with Akasa paxmate.

The Pax mate box came with 4 mats, one for the top and bottom of the case and two were for the sides. As I have a window on the case I decided to mod one side to stick to the side of the case. Its a little rough round the edges but looks OK.

Sorry for the dire photos, Can't seem to get any decent shots with this Canon camera.

- Cleaned out rig
- Took my old DVD-ROM out, never used it. Used the front panel of the DVD-ROM on the DVD-RW now. (Better colour match)
- Repositioned my hard drives
- Braided Seasonic PSU cables with black sleeving

The pax mate material has made a slight difference to the sound, not much.

er.. and dont tell the misses that I used the kitchen worktop

I originally thought this but the material removes without a problem.

It took some time to get the top to line up properly which meant having to remove and apply the material on and off.

Tbh the paxmate does not really make a big difference, although it does quiet down high pitch sounds from the case which I have noticed. But also looks good

Its a pleasure to work with. The case is so well made and so easy to access in all areas.
