After owning an old Dell XPS 720 and generally being disappointed although it did me for a few years, last year I looked around at a self-build. I built a PC years ago but hadn`t done one recently. I remember reading here about the Akasa Eclipse. Anyway, I sold the old Dell and went without a PC for a while, instead just using my Notebook. Just recently decided to build a new PC and almost went with a cheapo case (Coolermaster 335) but decided to go for the Akasa Eclipse. What a great case! I didn`t know much about it other than what I read previously some time ago but surprised to see all the panels can be removed - fantastic.

So this afternoon I`ll start assembling the whole PC (i5 750 based) for home/business and occassional gaming. Only things I don`t have are a decent cooler as I opted not to get the Corsair H50 for now (using retail fan instead temporarily) and decided to hold off on an SSD, oh and didn`t both with a PCI sound card, just using OEM option which will be good enough.

Anyway, great piece of kit so far and hope the assembly goes well. Haven`t done anything so far other than to take the top panel off and have a peak inside.

Anyone mount a Corsair H50 cooler i this case? Where did you put the rad?

I haven't mounted one but i have the case, i doubt it would reach to the front fan so just mount it in front of your rear fan. Keep it as exhaust.
