After waiting 2-3 weeks for my Akasa Apache and PWM Splitter to arrive they finally did and I went through the pita process of fitting them to my Noctua Dual Fan Heatsink as well as 3 fans into the akasa pwm splitter.

Now I got a problem which has peed me off, I cant control the speed of these things as its not detecting any fans........ wtf.

Anyone know what my problem might be, I got pwm fans so they were not running at 100% like the default fans and now I cant even do that.

I have MSI Z77A-GD65 and MSI Control Centre isnt reporting any fan speed from the CPU header ?????

Did you connect a fan to the fan connector that has the tach wire going to it? Only one will have the third wire hooked up.

Is the connection good?

I feel silly, I hate the heat.

With the frustration I had getting those ******* clips that go round the heatsink and into the fan holes to secure it to the noctua HS I just plugged the fans into the first splitter cable I saw.

I failed to see a tag attached to one that said "Master"

Feel free to slap me about.
